ROASTED MARSHMALLOW LATTE

I have so much love for lattes.  I seriously need to purchase this shirt because of how much I love them! Immediately after Parker was born we invested in an espresso maker...no need to explain the reasoning why (haha).  We've been experimenting here lately with different flavors and we hit the jack pot with this one.  Disclaimer...this can be a very sweet latte for some people!  I'm one of those people who likes to get their caffeine and sugar high at once...I'm living on the edge here people.

Roasted Marshmallow Latte
double shot of espresso
1/3 cup of whole milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
marshmallow creme
ice

Brown Sugar Simple Syrup - In a medium saucepan combine the sugars and water over medium/high heat, bring to a boil.  Once the sugar has dissolved completely, pour into measuring cup to cool.  After it's cooled down transfer to a squeeze bottle for easy use.

Brew the espresso.  When espresso is finished pour a teaspoon of simple syrup into it and stir. In a tall glass with ice pour espresso in, followed by the milk.  Top with a big scoop of marshmallow creme and toast the top with a blow torch.

Now sit back and enjoy!
