After putting together a list for entertaining a toddler I thought 'why not do one for an active little baby?' One would think entertaining a baby should be easy, but that's not always the case. That first year of their life is so important for their little brain. Think about it, a baby learns to sit, crawl, walk, talk, colors, sounds, etc all in the first 12 months of their life. At what other point in your life does anyone learn so many important skills in that short amount of time!?!As the parent, you should want fun learning toys around your baby that entertains them while helping them learn. I put together a few fun toys that get your baby's brain working.
2. Fun Learning Books - Jellycat books and On The Farm book - books are one of the best ways to learn about different sounds, animals and objects. Some of my favorites are the touch and learn books where babies learn about the way different things feel.
3. Knit Dolls by Blabla - I just love these knitted dolls!
4. LEKA Baby Gym - This toy is awesome for infants to look up at and see the different colors and shapes.
5. Plush Rainbow Stacker - this toy is perfect because of the colors, textures, and the sounds the circles make. Also, stacking them from biggest to smallest helps with understanding sizes.
6. Winkel Color Burst - I love this toy because of all the wonderful colors
7. Organic Wooden Owl Teething Toy - The owl in the image above sold out after I put this list together so I attached a similar toy.
8. Banana Teether - becasue you can't have enough teething toys
10. Baby Ride-On Zebra Shape Sorter - this is great for babies learning to walk
