HEALTHY BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS

Healthy banana muffins with chocolate chips that are kid tested and mother approved ha.

Ingredients
(makes 12 muffins)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp olive oil
1 egg
1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray*  
2. In a middle bowl whisk together the dry ingredients.
3. In a separate bowl mash the bananas.  Add the honey, vanilla, oil, egg, milk, and yogurt and combine.  
4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips**
5. Divide batter evenly into muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.  Let muffins cool for 5 minutes before serving.


*I used coconut oil cooking spray.
**I used semi sweet chocolate chips
