In the 11 years that Tyler & I have been together this was the first time we have ever carved a pumpkin. We want to start some fun family traditions now that Parker is getting older and understanding holidays more and more. Parker loved "helping" carve the pumpkin, which really just amounted to him trying to poke holes in it. We thought he may like pulling the pumpkin guts out but that was a big fat negative, he takes after me there! So instead he held the bowl for Tyler to put the seeds in. We all had a lot of fun lighting the jack-o'-lanterns up that night. I can't wait to start more holiday traditions!
